The Battlegreen Run Foundation is an official 501(c)3 charity that organizes an annual road race held in Lexington, MA each fall to fund a number of worthy local charities. Proceeds from the race and related fundraising events are donated to organizations that provide vital services, address community needs, create lasting positive change, and sustain their programs for the benefit of the communities they serve.
Our History
The very first GenesisHR Battlegreen 10k Run took place in 1996. Since then, the event has grown to include runners from all over the country participating in four different races.
In 2025, participants from 15 different states supported our cause. We were also fortunate to have amazing sponsors who generously invested in our community. Thanks to their help, in 2025 we raised over $130,000 for nonprofits. We’re so grateful for the support we receive from all of our runners and sponsors! Since 1996 we have distributed over $1,400,000 to our non-profit partners. Together with you and our sponsors we aim to break the $1.5m mark in 2026.
